We were established in December of 2014 by our Founder, Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange, who had a vision. This vision was to remain the leading provider of home care services. The Founder believed determination and hard work would make this dream become a reality and wanted to leave a legacy for future generations in the healthcare arena. Today, Love One Home Healthcare, Inc. D.B.A. Love One Support Services is a success story built on determination and hard work. We are recognized for our excellence in the healthcare industry and has grown substantially over the years. We started as a Residential Service in Maryland, and now we are diversified in the District of Columbia.

Our Mission

Love One Support Services’ mission is to provide quality home support services in Washington, DC. We assist them with Personal Care Services, Companion Care Services, and Homemaker Services. We aim to achieve the highest level of potential in their day-to-day self-care activities. We are committed to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary care by professionals who recognize the need for a comprehensive assessment of care needs from both the client and professional’s perspective.

About Our Founder Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange, RN DNP

Christina Ekoko Abange

With the love and passion to care, here comes Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange with a decade of experience in the field of nursing. Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange offers a unique blend of Leadership, Vision, and Knowledge. She served as the Administrator/Director of Nursing of Love One Home Healthcare, Inc., for the past 6 years, where she has increased productivity.

Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing from Shenandoah University in 2009. She spent time working in various nursing areas, such as Medical-Surgical, Education, Homecare, Pediatric, and Case Management. Later on, she attended American Sentinel University in Denver, Colorado, where she received a Master of Science (MSN) in Nursing specializing in Nursing Informatics in 2016. After receiving her MSN, Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange continued working in a diverse area of nursing. Afterward, she decided to earn her doctorate. She attended American Sentinel University and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Executive Leadership in 2019.

In addition to her role as the Administrator/Director of Nursing, Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange has been involved in research studies and helped doctoral students on their Capstone Projects and Thesis. She also gets them ready for their final defense. Dr. Christina Ekoko Abange is currently serving as a preceptor and committee member to nursing and doctoral students.

Her upbringing nurtured the core values that shaped her into who she is, loyal, compassionate, loving, caring, and honest with a strong attachment to family and community. It also taught her the importance of hard work and perseverance in pursuit of one’s desired vision. Dealing with her elderly parent’s illness and struggling with caregiving made her dive into the homecare business to care with passion and love, just as she would like her parents to be treated.
